Why do people mow their lawns? Why do people stand out on their lawn and waste water so much watering their lawn so it will be green? It's such a colossal waste of time, money, water, life, everything. One big waste of everything. It's always old people who do it.

Old people need to read more books.

I understand that it needs to be cut so it doesn't get infested with mice and insects, but the amount the average house dweller is expected to mow their lawn is insane. I mow my lawn without being forced maybe once or twice a year and nothing bad ever happens. The only thing that happens is my neighbors (and parents) treat me like I'm a bad person. This is fucked up. I really hate old people.
